About Jessica Teeter

I have had a web presence since sometime in 2000 when I started my very first blog, the content of which is (hopefully) lost to time. I studied English Literature and Theater at Santa Clara University, and recently completed a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science at San Jose State, focusing on management and preservation of digital records.

When not online, I can be found knitting, reading, out walking the neighborhood, scratching my cats, or playing the occasional video game.

Where on the web?

I can also be found at some of my favorite online locations:

About the site

Jessajune.com has existed in one form or another since 2001. This particular version bucks the current blog-on-the-front-page trend for several reasons. For one thing, I rather miss the clean, simple look of the of the '90s splash page. More importantly, this web site is not the whole of my web existence. I find myself scattered all over these days, and this site is intended to be a starting point rather than the totality of my life on the web. To that end, I created this simple, link-heavy design using BBEdit and some of my own photographs.

The name "JessaJune" comes from my own nickname "Jessa" and my middle name, "June". Simple, isn't it? I use it as my primary handle around the web, and so far haven't bumped into any others. If you see a "jessajune" out there, say hi! It's probably me.
